Privacy Policy


Your right to privacy and data security is a primary concern for Space Database. We strive to ensure that every client experience is safe and secure.

The information you provide will be kept confidential and used to maintain and support your client relationship with us. This means enabling us to proceed with processing and fulfilling your product or service requirements, assisting you with technical support issues, or following up with you after your product or service inquiry or purchase.

When following up on your product or service inquiry or purchase, we will send you information about our various products and services, and any special offers or promotions we think may be of interest to you.

ONLY Space Database will send you these direct mailings. At any time you can easily opt-out of receiving further marketing from Space Database by contacting us.

Space Database will not disclose your company's information to any outside organization without your consent. Under no circumstances do we sell our client's information to third parties.


Disclosure to Service Providers

Space Database will share your information with certain select service providers in order to support your client relationship with us and to fulfil any work orders you have requested. For example, service providers will be dispatched to conduct area surveys and prepare CAD drawings. All such service providers only use your information for the purposes and in the matter we have instructed them. They have also committed to keeping your company's information confidential, using it only as directed by Space Database and to secure your information in a manner that is consistent with this policy.


Legal Obligations

Please be aware that in certain circumstances, Space Database may be required to disclose your personal information without your consent such as to law enforcement or other government officials. This could arise, for example, where disclosure is required:

I. to comply with a subpoena, warrant or order made by a court with jurisdiction to compel the production of such information;

II. to legal authorities for the detection and prevention of fraud or other criminal activity; or

III. to our legal counsel in the event that any matter may the subject of litigation.

If Space Database should be required to release your personal information without your consent, such as for the reasons listed above, we would always keep a record of what information was released, to which party it was released and why the circumstances necessitated such release.

The principal places in which Space Database retains your company information are in Toronto, Ontario and nearby municipalities where off-site storage facilities may be located.


Human Resources Information

Space Database has employment opportunities advertised on its web site, and in connection with a job application or related inquiry, you may provide us with personal information about yourself as contained in a resume, cover letter or similar materials. Space Database may use this information for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or your job application. Unless you have advised us otherwise, even if you have not been accepted for the position to which you applied, we may retain your information for future consideration. As well, in the course of any job application, we may obtain further information about you as a result of verifying your references with previous employer(s). Space Database may also keep this information on file for future use.


This website uses Google AdWords

This website uses the Google AdWords remarketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven't completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form to make an enquiry. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page, or a site in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone's past visits to the Space Database website. Of course, any data collected will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy and Google's privacy policy. If we update this policy, the effective date will be changed to indicate when the last update was made.
